Outreach
Miriam’s Hope(MH) exists to ensure that all individuals we meet know that they have encountered Jesus. Our commitment is to treat everyone with kindness and respect regardless of their occupation, their living condition, financial status, or health. MH outreach activities will occur in the bars and on the streets giving each person we talk to the chance to connect further with us. Although our primary focus is on women over 40, we welcome participation from all.
Outreach initiatives are scheduled twice weekly. Every person to whom we talk will be invited to share lunch with us the next day at a convenient restaurant. During these lunches, we share information about MH and other local opportunities. We recognize that not everyone will be interested in exploring new paths immediately; however, continued participation in “Club” activities is encouraged, allowing ongoing relationship-building, community, and support. We will also discuss the MH training program: Caregiving, Reception, or Computers in Business or other training option throughout the area.
