Our Training Program will take four months when we will train our women in a range of skills suitable for future employment in care giving. Over the four months we will be taking time with the women to go on trips away from Pattaya and experience wider aspects of life. It will give us the chance to really get to know them and build relationships. Initially we plan to train six women in our first four month training cycle and then repeat the programme with the next cohort of women.

God's Story
Using video and story telling we will watch God’s story from Creation to Eternity. The start of each day at our Training Centre will begin with a time of Devotions and this will be followed by a time of more in depth study of God’s Story. We will be inviting guest speakers to present some parts of the Bible Study programme.
English as a Second Language
During the first month of this course we will studying the basics of English language and bring the standard of spoken English to a suitable level. The remaining three months will be familiarising our women in English vocabulary for care givers. Topics will include - communication, personal care, health and safety, challenging situations.
Life Skills
This training will be for the personal development of the women on our Miriam’s Hope Programme. It will be an opportunity to give some guidance on topics such as budgeting, food and nutrition, self-care, decision-making and career readiness.
Vocational Skills
Care Giving Skills
This element of our programme will be delivered by a Thai professional with qualifications and practical experience in the field of Care Giving. It will involve the practicalities of care giving and so we will be equipping a room at the Training Centre with suitable hands-on materials and appliances for use in this part of our training.
Computers in Business
Women will learn the use of a computer and the business skills necessary to work in an office including File Structure, Storage, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation Software, Graphic design Software, and Web design.
Receptionist
This course will focus on the Hospitality industry. We will train them how to dress, how to use software systems for check-in, check-out, payments, and all other areas of the hospitality industry here in Pattaya.
